Quantimetrix Controls Spinal Fluid Dropper® - MHRA registration

Sterilab are pleased to announce that the Spinal Fluid Control from Quantimetrix, is now registered with the MHRA for sale in the UK.

Compatibility

For areas involved in the testing of CSF samples for conditions including bacterial infections, viruses and injuries, the Dropper Spinal Fluid Control is compatible and designed for use with most major chemistry analyzers and nephelometers including: Siemens Dimension, Beckman Coulter AU series, Roche Cobas, Abbott Architect and Pyrogallol Red microprotein methods.

Liquid, ready to use – no reconstitution!

Similar to our other QC provisions, the Spinal Fluid  QC is supplied in two levels as a ready-to use liquid Control, requiring no reconstitution. A simple to use solution which is prepared in a human protein matrix fortified to target levels with purified chemicals. A stable QC, designed to be used in the same way you would a patient sample (in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements).

An open shelf life of 90 days sets it apart from others on the market and enables a more cost-effective and less wasteful approach.
