From a single nasal swab and providing results in only 10 minutes. This enables the swift diagnosis of infection and co-infection of single or multiple viruses at the point of care. This simple test is rapid, reliable and convenient!
ComboResp offers qualitative and differential detection of nucleocapsid protein antigen from Influenza A (including the subtype H1N1), Influenza B, RSV and/or Covid-19 from symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. It aids in the rapid diagnosis of Influenza A, Influenza B, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, and/or SARS-CoV-2 infections in the healthcare setting management, general population screening, and workplace screening.
As we enter the Flu and Respiratory virus season, ComboResp, although a relatively new product, has created a remarkable amount of professional interest, using familiar lateral flow technology it ensures that minimum training is required, the simultaneous testing of 4 viruses reduces the demand on other costly and more time consuming PCR devices in situ which can be utilised for non symptomatic patients (although the test can be used on both).
ComboResp is a valuable tool for the streamlining of patient flows by swiftly screening out the positive cases and reducing the need for PCR testing on symptomatic patients. It’s ideal in use for areas such as triage in ED, Oncology, Care Homes, Wards, and Clinics.
