Sterilab attendance at upcoming events
After a long time living with COVID it is positive to see events taking place and face to face networking resuming in a more normal fashion.
Microsoft Teams has played a pivotal role in the way we conduct business but it’s just not quite the same as an in person meet up.
Sterilab Services are therefore delighted to be attending a number of upcoming events and hope to see some of our well-established customers from across the NHS as well as meeting with some fresh faces.
Visit us at Microbe
The biennial conference for Microbiologists in Sheffield is taking place in September 20-23, where we will be part of this year’s themed diagnostic exhibition.
The event is a sell-out which further demonstrating the demand for professional meet ups.
For those that may not be aware of Microbe, the event held over the weekend features a lecture programme which spans over 3 days (Friday to Sunday) with topics this year including Antimicrobials, Infections & Travel and Changing Methods.
Find us in the Assembly room with a number of new breakthrough products and the NC-15 a rapid automated extraction machine for DNA and RNA, PlatR pipetting management system and Lab Consumables including liquid handling, products for virus testing and tissue culture.
We are also in attendance at the POCT Innovations event
Run by Tony Cambridge and Thornhill events this is set to be a day to be an essential day for all involved in POCT. Held in Bristol, 20 September at the Harbourside Hotel, there is an interesting agenda supported by a number of exhibitor sponsors, of which we are one.
‘’The event focuses on future trends in point of care and rapid diagnostics. Topics of interest include the development of POCT talent, developments in informatics and connectivity, changes to UKAS accreditation, syndromic and multiplex testing, POCT in personalised medicine and more.’’ Thornhill Events
We will be demonstrating our urinalysis solutions for which we are renowned and also offering advice on other POCT diagnostic products including our rapid test reader for hCG, CRP, and D-dimer and QC offering.
